ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 06^TH TEST OF PROFICIENCY IN KOREAN- INTERNET BASED TEST (TOPIK IBT)

(Test date: March 22, 2025)

1. Instructions for test registration

• Registration Period: From February 4, 2025 (Tuesday) to February 10, 2025 (Monday)

Note: The term "Registration Closes" refers to the final time when registrations will be recorded by the system. If a test site/region is fully booked before this time, the system will automatically close, and candidates will no longer be able to register for that specific test site/region.

• Test fees: TOPIK I IBT: 900.000VNĐ/TOPIK II IBT: 1.350.000VNĐ

• Candidates cannot cancel or request a refund for a successful registration or for violating regulations set by IIG Vietnam.
• Payment must be completed within 15 minutes of completing the registration form. Registrations not paid within this time will be canceled, and candidates will need to start the process again.
• In cases of force majeure, refunds will be processed following the Regulations on TOPIK Test registration.

• Documents required for Registration:

• A bank card/account for online payment.
• For candidates with temporary/permanent disabilities who wish to take the TOPIK IBT, please carefully read the Guidance on Supporting Candidates with Disabilities and submit the required documentation by the final registration date.

• Distribution of Test Admission Form: An email containing Candidate ID Number, test room and other instructions will be sent to candidates 2 weeks before the test date, so please check your email regularly.

• Announcement of Test results: Results will be announced on April 11, 2025 (Friday).

• Candidates can access their test results and print their score certificates for free at www.topik.go.kr -[성적확인].

3. Test-day instructions

• Test Format: Computer-based testing.
• Check-in Time: Concludes 40 minutes before the start of the test.
• Documents required: Test Registration Form (printed out from the system as instructed) and ID documents (the same documents used for online registration).
• Important notes:

• Candidates are prohibited from bringing food or beverages into the exam room.
• Please turn off all alarms and electronic devices, such as mobile phones, and hand them over to the proctor before the exam begins.
• There will be no break time between exam sections.
• Candidates must thoroughly review and agree to adhere to IIG Vietnam's Regulations and Instruction for the TOPIK IBT before completing their registration. Changes to the type of exam will not be allowed after registration is finalized.
• Late registrations will not be accepted under any circumstances once the registration period has ended.
• Candidates must attend the exam at the registered test venue. Changes to the test venue are not permitted.
• Adjustments to Personal Information: Candidates are required to carefully review the Regulations on adjustment of TOPIK test taker information. If adjustments are necessary and permitted under these regulations, candidates must contact the hotline at 1900 636 929 no later than 5:30 PM on February 28, 2025, to receive guidance and support.
• Handling Violations of Regulations: Candidates must thoroughly review the Regulations for handling violations during the TOPIK test and Guidance on procedure of handling violations.

• Candidates are requested to carefully read all other Regulations and Instructions here.
