REGULATIONS ON ADJUSTMENT OF TOPIK TEST TAKER INFORMATION

To ensure that you have complete and accurate information about the regulations governing the adjustment of information you provide during registration for the TOPIK exam organized by IIG Vietnam, we are pleased to announce the following regulations:

I. Scope of information adjustment before the exam date

1. Wrong information that can be adjusted:

  • Incorrect digits in the ID number or incorrect characters in the passport number
  • Misspelled or missing characters in the name
  • Incorrect date, month, or year of birth
  • Other personal information (nationality, gender, email)

2. Information that cannot be adjusted:

  • ID document type and ID photograph
  • Completely incorrect personal information (full name, date of birth, ID number)
  • Test taker's photo

II. Scope of information adjustment on the test date

1. Wrong information that can be adjusted:

  • One incorrect element in personal information due to missing character (e.g., missing characters in middle name, in month of birth, etc.)
  • One incorrect element in personal information due to mispelling (e.g., misspelling in middle name, in month of birth, etc.)

2. Wrong information that cannot be adjusted:

  • Completely incorrect personal information
  • First and last name on the identification document are different from those on the application form
  • Test Admission Form does not have a photo or the test taker cannot prove to be the registered person
  • Test taker's photo does not match the registered person's photo and the test taker requests to change the photo

III. Adjustment period

  • Test takers who need to adjust information (if the information is subject to adjustment) before the test date should contact hotline 1900 636 929 no later than three weeks before the test date for guidance and support.
  • Test takers who need to adjust information (if the information is subject to adjustment) on the test date should inform the proctor for guidance and support.
  • Within 4 weeks from the date of receiving the notification of test results, candidates should contact hotline 1900 636 929 if they find their personal information incorrect. However, cases with wrong information due to the candidate's self error will not be supported with correction.

IV. Note

  • Test takers with incorrect information that is not corrected will not be allowed to participate in the test, and the test fee will not be refunded.
  • If the type of ID document needs to be changed due to objective reasons or force majeure, such as police revocation due to information errors, damaged or lost documents, etc., test takers should contact hotline 1900 636 929 as soon as possible for guidance and support.
