What documents and information do I need to prepare for online registration of the TOPIK test?
To register for the TOPIK test through the registration portal at https://online.iigvietnam.com/, you will need to gather the following information and documents:
- A digital image file of your 3x4cm ID photo, which should meet the following requirements:
• File size between 10KB and 200KB
• Dimensions of 354 * 472 pixels
• Format: JPG

- A photo of the front and back of your identification document. This can be your ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport (for adults) or Birth certificate & Letter of ID verification (for candidates who are under the age to apply for ID card/Citizen ID card).
- Valid ID documents as prescribed by IIG Vietnam. You can find the specific requirements for ID documents at the following link: https://topik.iigvietnam.com/en/requirements-on-id/
- A card or bank account that can be used for online payment. You can choose one of the following methods:
• VNPAYQR payment application
• Domestic card and bank account
• International cards
• VNPAY e-wallet
- The following information must be provided during registration:
• Full name in Vietnamese
• Full name in Korean
• Date of birth
• ID number (ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport)
• Address
• Phone number
• Email address
• Test schedule (selected from the available options provided on the system)

Candidates are generally not eligible for a refund of the test fee, and changes or cancellations of the registered test schedule are not permitted, except in cases of force majeure. Please note that on the day of the test, if a candidate violates any of the following conditions, they will not be allowed to take the exam and the exam fee will not be refunded:
- Failure to bring valid identification documents or bringing invalid identification documents.
- The first and last name on the identification document does not match those on the test admission form.
- The test admission form lacks a photo or cannot prove that the candidate is the registered person.
- Furthermore, candidates who are currently under disciplinary action or suspension from taking the TOPIK test but still register for the test will not be eligible for a refund of the test fee.
You are permitted to bring valid identification documents and correction tape into the test room. All electronic devices must be turned off and submitted to the invigilator. All other personal belongings should be placed in a bag and stored in the assigned area before the start of the first test section.
During the TOPIK test, you will be provided with a double-sided pen to complete the test.
- TOPIK I Test: You will receive a Score Certificate if you achieve a total score of over 80 points.
- TOPIK II Test: You will receive a Score Certificate if you achieve a total score of over 120 points.
To obtain your Score Certificate, you can access the TOPIK homepage (www.topik.go.kr) in the "Score Certificate" section. There, you can look up your results and print the certificate if you meet the score requirements.
