On average, in Vietnam, there are approximately 3 TOPIK exams held annually, typically in April, July, and October. However, the exact number of exams may vary based on the prevailing circumstances and the decisions made by the relevant governing bodies. Therefore, candidates are advised to refer to the most up-to-date exam schedule information on the IIG Vietnam homepage or the TOPIK homepage of the Korean Institute of International Education.
Candidates are generally not eligible for a refund of the test fee, and changes or cancellations of the registered test schedule are not permitted, except in cases of force majeure. It is important to review the specific information regarding the change, cancellation, and refund policy, which can be found at this link: https://online.iigvietnam.com/en/news/chinh-sach-va-dieu-khoan-thanh-toan-bai-thi-topik/.
Please note that on the day of the test, if a candidate violates any of the following conditions, they will not be allowed to take the exam and the exam fee will not be refunded:
- Failure to bring valid identification documents or bringing invalid identification documents.
- The first and last name on the identification document does not match those on the test admission form.
- The test admission form lacks a photo or cannot prove that the candidate is the registered person.
- Furthermore, candidates who are currently under disciplinary action or suspension from taking the TOPIK test but still register for the test will not be eligible for a refund of the test fee.
