What are the steps to register for the TOEFL iBT test?
To register for the TOEFL iBT test, candidates should follow these steps:
- Visit the ETS website and complete the registration process online.
- During registration, provide your personal information, select your preferred test date, and choose a test venue in Vietnam.
- An international payment card is required to pay the exam fee online.
- After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing your test ticket.

On the day of the TOEFL iBT test, please make sure to:
- Arrive at the test venue at least 30 minutes before the designated check-in time.
- Bring your confirmation ticket and a valid ID document, such as an ID card, Citizen ID card, or Passport, to complete the test entry process.
Keep in mind that there must be a minimum of 12 days between each attempt of the test.
- TOEIC Listening & Reading Score Certificates are available at IIG Vietnam Hanoi office after 5 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays)
- TOEIC Listening & Reading Score Certificates are available at IIG Vietnam HCM and Da Nang offices, other Test Sites/units after 7 - 10 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays)
- TOEIC Speaking & Writing Score Certificates are available at IIG Vietnam Hanoi office is after 16 days
- TOEIC Speaking & Writing Score Certificates are available at IIG Vietnam HCM and Da Nang branches and other Test Sites/units after 3 weeks
- If candidates choose to have their Score Certificates delivered via postal mail, please allow for an additional 3 to 4 working days (Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays excluded) for the delivery.
According to our regulations, each candidate receives only one original TOEIC Score Certificate after each test, and replacements will not be issued. However, if candidates wish to submit their TOEIC test results to score users, IIG Vietnam can assist by sending a certified true copy of score certificate to the requested recipient by mail. This service requires candidates to sign up at least 14 days before the Score Certificate expiration date and must have achieved a score of 200 or more.
The procedure for obtaining a copy of the Scorecard involves presenting:
1. Your original ID card/Citizen ID carrd used for TOEIC test registration along with one photocopy
2. A 3x4 photo similar to the one on the original Scorecard
3. A fee of 120,000 VND.
- If you registered for the test through another agency (not IIG Vietnam's counter or test sites), please obtain the agency's confirmation letter granting permission for this service to be performed at IIG Vietnam.
- Copies will be sent to the requested recipient in approximately two weeks after the request.
