How is the TOEFL iBT test administered, and how is it structured?
TOEFL iBT Test Structure:
As of July 26, 2023, the TOEFL iBT test consists of four sections, with a shorter duration of approximately 2 hours:
- Reading Comprehension: 20 questions in 35 minutes
- Listening Comprehension: 28 questions in 36 minutes
- Speaking: 4 tasks in 16 minutes
- Writing: 2 tasks in 29 minutes
Scores are reported on a scale from 0 to 120 points.
Questions on the same topic
- Candidates can collect their Score Certificates after 3 working days (for the Hanoi office) or 5 working days (for the HCM City and Da Nang offices), excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
- You should request for the service at the time of exam registration or at least two working days before your exam date.
- There is a fee of 210,000 VND for this service.
During the registration, you can choose to send your scores to up to 4 schools for free. Alternatively, you can register for the score-sending service to schools after receiving your results.
The results of English tests (TOEIC, TOEFL ITP, etc.) are confidential information. Therefore, candidates are requested to check their official scores upon receiving the printed certificate.
