How can institutions verify TOEIC test results, and what is the process for this?

Procedure for Post-Test Verification Requests

Important Note

The post-test verification service applies only to certificates that remain valid in accordance with ETS or Certiport regulations.

Customers may submit a verification request using one of the following methods:

1. Submission of Hard Copies

Please submit a signed and stamped official letter of request, along with a printed list of test takers whose test results require verification, to:

2. Submission via Email

Please email a scanned copy of the signed and stamped official request letter, along with an Excel file including a list of test takers whose test results require verification, to: haukiem@iigvietnam.edu.vn

Processing Time and Result Format

  • Processing time: Within 07 working days from receipt of a valid verification request.
  • Result form: An official letter of verification result issued by IIG Vietnam will be:
    • sent to  the organization’s registered email address; and
    • delivered in hard copy to the registered address by post.

- ETS offers score review services for the Speaking and Writing sections only.
- You can submit a score review request within 30 days from the exam date. However, if you have already requested score reports to be sent to schools, you are not eligible for a score review.
- The results of the score review will be available approximately 3 weeks after ETS receives the request and fee.

If candidates are unable to personally collect their Score Certificates, they have the option to designate a friend or family member to do so on their behalf. Here are the steps involved:
1. Prepare a handwritten Letter of Authorization. The Letter of Authorization should contain complete information and bear the signatures of both the authorizer and the authorized individual responsible for receiving the Score Certificates.
2. The authorized representative must present at IIG Vietnam Registration Counter, equipped with their own ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport and the Letter of Authorization in order to obtain the Score Certificates.

Candidates have the option to register for express delivery service to have their test results sent to their home address. Please arrange this service on your exam day and discuss the details directly with the Exam Supervisor. Please note that additional courier services will not be available after the test date.
