Rights and Responsibilities of Test Takers

To ensure fairness, transparency, and professionalism in the administration of certification tests, IIG Vietnam hereby issues the following Guidelines on the Rights and Responsibilities of Test Takers.

This document serves as an official reference to help test takers fully understand their rights as well as their obligations and responsibilities throughout the testing process. By adhering to these guidelines, each test session is conducted in a serious and professional manner, thereby ensuring the quality, value, and credibility of international certification tests in Vietnam.

1. Rights of Test Takers

- To participate in international proficiency exams in English, Korean, and other languages administered by IIG Vietnam.

- To receive an internationally recognized certificate upon successful completion of the exam requirements.

2. Responsibilities of Test Takers

- Complete the online registration process and provide full and accurate personal information.

- Pay the required test fee in full.

- Bring all required identification documents on the test day, including a valid Citizen ID card or passport and the test registration form. Personal belongings are not permitted in the test room. In case test takers bring any personal belongings (including wallets, watches, mobile phones, any signal receivers / electronic devices, any kinds of pens or pencils, or other items), all electronic devices must be turned off and deposited at the storage area. Test takers are solely responsible for their personal belongings.

- Be present at the test site on time. If you experience nasal or throat infections that may cause noise or disturb other test takers during the test, you are not allowed to enter the test room and requested to notify IIG Vietnam to change the test date in advance.

- Dress politely. Do not wear shorts or sleeveless shirts to the test room.

- Be polite, cooperative and strictly follow the security checks and identity verification procedures required by the proctors, for instance: having your photo taken, checking fingerprints/handwriting patterns or any other electronic checking processes.

- Stay seated as instructed by the proctor. Do not get out of the test room until the test officially ends and only leave when permitted by the proctor.

- You are allowed to consult proctors about test-related information only before the test officially begins.

- Any form of cheating is strictly prohibited. Test takers must not look at other candidates’ papers, exchange answers, or share test materials.

- Complete the test in full accordance with the test regulations.

- In case of any unusual or emergency, strictly follow the instructions of the proctor.

IIG Vietnam expects all test takers to strictly comply with the above guidelines throughout the testing process.
