INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING THE ANSWER SHEET

  • Candidates must complete each section of the test within the corresponding test time and should manage their time responsibly. During the listening test, candidates are only allowed to fill in answers for the listening section, and the same for the reading and writing sections.
  • Answer sheets must be handled with care to avoid damage or staining from scribbling or unnecessary marking, as this may lead to disadvantages to the test taker. In particular, the timing mark (■■■) at the top and bottom of the answer sheet must not be damaged at all.
  • Answers that are not marked on the answer sheet will not be considered valid or scored, even if they are written in the question booklet.
  • Personally brought correction tape may be used, but candidates are responsible for all matters arising from using the correction tape e.g., running out of tape, etc.
  • Only the double-sided pen distributed by the test proctor can be used for filling out the answer sheet. Failure to do so or not following the regulations and guidelines will result in the candidate being responsible for any disadvantage in test scores.
  • Candidates must fill in their full name (in English) on the left side of the answer sheet, along with their Candidate ID number and test code. The test code must match the code in the upper right corner of the question booklet.
  • Candidates use the thick side of the double-sided pen to answer questions in Listening and Reading sections, for each question candidates can only choose one corresponding answer and mark "●" fully covering such answer. If answers need to be changed, use correction tape and completely cover the incorrect answer so that it is not visible.
  • When answering the Writing section, candidates must write their answer only within the given space using the thin side of the double-sided pen. Answers written outside the given space or in other positions will not be scored. To correct answers, candidates may draw two lines over the incorrect answer or use correction tape. If a correction tape is needed, quietly raise your hand and ask the proctor.
  • If candidates fill in the answer sheet incorrectly, they may request a replacement from the proctor, who will collect and destroy the original sheet. However, if candidates cannot complete the entire answer sheet within the test time, they must still submit it as is. Candidates are not permitted to fill in the answer sheet after the test has ended. Failure to follow this rule or the proctor’s instructions will result in the invalidation of their test score.
  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the test room without the proctor's permission, even after the allotted time has ended. Both the question booklet and the answer sheet must be returned at the end of the test.
