No, You can take an AP Exam each time it's offered.
If candidates have updated their AP ID during the first registration, they do not need to update it again for subsequent registrations.
If candidates choose to cancel their scores for free, the exam will not be graded, and the score will not appear on the score report.
If candidates choose to withhold the scores of one or more AP exams so that they do not appear on the score report, the scores will still be recorded in the College Board system, and candidates can choose to release the withheld scores later if desired. There is a fee for this service.
Both the options to withhold or cancel AP exam scores must be completed by June 15 of the year the candidate takes the exam if they do not want the scores to appear on the score report.
