How early should candidates arrive for the exam and what must they bring?
Candidates should arrive at the exam location 30 minutes before the exam time to complete entry procedures. They need to bring:
- A valid passport or ID/Citizen card.
- The exam Admission Tickets

Between Sections 1 and 2 of your AP Exam, there's a scheduled 10-minutes break. Food and beverages are not permitted in the exam room; however, candidates can leave them outside the room for consumption during breaks.
Most AP exams are paper-based exams administered at testing centers. However, there may also be some computer-based exams, and some exams may require the submission of porfolios and presentations for final score consideration.
For combined computer and paper tests, the test will be displayed entirely on the computer, the multiple-choice part will be done on the computer, and the essay part will be done on paper
