How early should candidates arrive for the exam and what must they bring?
Candidates should arrive at the exam location 30 minutes before the exam time to complete entry procedures. They need to bring:
- A valid passport or ID/Citizen card.
- The exam Admission Tickets

- The AP exam consists of:
- Multiple-choice section.
- Free-response section.
'- Candidates must present valid, original identification (Passport or Vietnamese Citizen Identification Card) with a photo and signature. Those unable to provide the required documents will not be permitted to sit for the exam.
If candidates choose to cancel their scores for free, the exam will not be graded, and the score will not appear on the score report.
If candidates choose to withhold the scores of one or more AP exams so that they do not appear on the score report, the scores will still be recorded in the College Board system, and candidates can choose to release the withheld scores later if desired. There is a fee for this service.
Both the options to withhold or cancel AP exam scores must be completed by June 15 of the year the candidate takes the exam if they do not want the scores to appear on the score report.
