REGULATIONS ON ADJUSTING CANDIDATE INFORMATION FOR THE TOPIK TEST
Please refer to the following regulations for accurate guidance on updating personal details for TOPIK test registration with IIG Vietnam:
I. Information Eligible and Ineligible for Adjustment
- Eligible for Adjustment:
- Minor errors in characters or numbers within the identification document number
- Misspellings or omissions in the English name, including:
- Missing or incorrect letters due to spelling or typing errors
- Completely incorrect or missing portions of the last, middle, or first names in English
- Additional or missing spaces in the English name
- Reversed order of name components in the English name
- Incorrect date of birth details, including day, month, or year errors, or swapped day and month
- Other personal details, such as nationality, gender, email, Korean name, etc.
- Change in ID type due to valid reasons (e.g., damage, loss, or defects in the original ID)
- Ineligible for Adjustment:
- Any incorrect information not specified above
- Incorrect photos or requests for photo changes
II. Adjustment Timeline
- Candidates needing adjustments before the exam date should contact the hotline at 1900 636 929 at least three weeks prior to the exam for guidance and support.
- Candidates discovering errors in their personal information within four weeks of receiving the exam results notification should contact the hotline at 1900 636 929. However, errors caused by the candidates themselves may not be eligible for correction assistance.
III. Important Notes
- If incorrect information remains uncorrected or if inaccuracies are identified on the exam day, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam and will not receive a refund for the exam fee.
- If a candidate must change document types due to objective reasons or force majeure (e.g., document confiscation by authorities due to information errors, document damage, or loss), they should contact the hotline at 1900 636 929 promptly for assistance.
