The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program is a professional certification offered internationally by the America based CFA Institute (formerly the Association for Investment Management and Research, or AIMR) to investment and financial professionals.
CFA Program includes a series of three exams: Levels I, II, and III. Each level of the curriculum builds on the prior level and becomes increasingly complex.
- The Level I exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions, split between two 135-minute sessions (session times are approximate). There is an optional break between sessions.
- The CFA Level II exam consists of 22 item sets comprised of vignettes with 88 accompanying multiple-choice questions. The Level II exam will be 4 hours and 24 minutes, split into two equal sessions of 2 hours and 12 minutes, with an optional break in-between.
- The Level III exam consists of item sets and constructed response (essay) sets. Both of these question types are comprised of vignettes with accompanying multiple-choice items for item sets and constructed response items for essay sets. The Level III exam will be 4 hours and 24 minutes, split into two equal sessions of 2 hours and 12 minutes, with an optional break in-between.
The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admission in the United States. Not only that but SAT score is also accepted by many universities around the world like those in Canada, Australia, England, Korea, Singapore… The SAT is managed by College Board and developed by Educational Testing Service (ETS). IIG Vietnam – the national representative of ETS, has been organizing SAT in Vietnam.
Starting from 2023, the College Board introduces Digital SAT testing, which offers several new features:
- Candidates have the option to take the SAT on their personal laptops, tablets, or devices provided by the test organizers if they register in advance with the College Board.
- The Digital SAT test has a shorter duration of about 2 hours, compared to the previous 3-hour format.
- This format enhances security as it eliminates the need for test book delivery.
The SSAT test is a standardized test used by admission officers to assess the abilities of students seeking to enroll in an independent school in the United States. The SSAT test measures the basic verbal, math, and reading skills students need for successful performance in independent schools.
The SSAT test is administered by the Enrollment Management Association (EMA), a nonprofit organization that provides professional support, advocacy, and smart, strategic enrollment tools to the enrollment offices of more than 1300 independent schools.
- Elementary Level SSAT – For children currently in 3rd and 4th grades who are applying for admission to 4th and 5th grades.
- Middle Level SSAT – For children currently in grades 5 - 7 who seek admission to grades 6 through 8..
- Upper Level SSAT – For children currently in grades 8 - 11 who are applying for admission to grades 9 through PG (Post Graduate).
