ID PHOTO REQUIREMENTS FOR TEST REGISTRATION FOR

To ensure you have the most comprehensive and accurate information regarding identification document regulations for registering and taking exams at IIG Vietnam, we are pleased to provide the specific guidelines as follows:

Size

  • 3x4 cm (excluding any white frame).
  • Note: Photos resized from 4x6 cm (or similar methods) are not accepted.

Resolution

  • Maximum file size:200KB.
  • Standard dimensions: 354x472 pixel.

Specifications

  • Only original photos are allowed;

No scanned or software-edited images.

Photos copied from printed documents or from other IDs (such as ID cards, passports, or student cards) are also not accepted.

  • File Format: .jpg
  • Capture Time: The photo must be in color and taken within the last 6 months.
  • Background: Plain background (white, blue, or grey) without patterns or drawings.
  • Sharpness: The photo must be clear, well-lit, and free from overly bright or dark areas.
  • Quality: Photos should be sharp and high-quality—no blurriness or smudging.
  • Facial Features:

The face should occupy 70%-80% of the frame.

The photo should be taken directly facing the camera, with the eyes looking straight at the lens.

Headwear is not allowed, except for religious reasons.

Hair should be neat, and the ears and forehead must be visible.

Shoulders should be squared, and attire should be formal (sleeved shirt with no low-cut neckline).

Clothing should contrast with the background.

No smiling with teeth visible.

  • Eyeglasses:Photos showing the subject wearing glasses of any kind (clear or tinted) will not be accepted.
  • Head Covering: Religious headscarves are permitted, provided they do not obscure the face, and there are no shadows.

Important Notes

The photo will be used on the certificate for the TOEIC Listening & Reading test (Paper- based test)
