What is the TOEFL iBT test, and what does it measure?

TOEFL iBT test, designed and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS), is a test of English as a foreign language. The test evaluates all four English skills – listening, reading, speaking and writing – in an academic context.
The TOEFL iBT test is one of the world’s most highly regarded and widely accepted test to confirm that a student has the English language skills needed to succeed in an academic setting. Taking the test is an essential part of students’ study abroad preparation as well as an advantage in their admission into prestigious domestic universities.

To collect the TOEFL ITP Score Certificates, candidates are required to present the following documents at the IIG Vietnam Office:
- Valid identification documents used for exam registration (ID card/Citizen ID card/Passport).
If candidates have registered through another agency or test site, please contact the respective registration agency or test site for instructions on how to retrieve your Score Certificates.

- If you registered online via IIG Vietnam website: Once your application is approved, any test cancellation request must be submitted through the online registration system at least five (05) working days before the test date (excluding Sundays and public holidays), in accordance with the instructions provided in the corresponding registration guideline.
- If you cancel your exam on time, you'll receive a 50% refund of the exam fee. There will be no refund for candidates who miss the exam on the scheduled day.
- If you registered at another test site or agency, contact the test site or agency directly for assistance with canceling the exam schedule.

On the day of the TOEFL iBT test, please make sure to:
- Arrive at the test venue at least 30 minutes before the designated check-in time.
- Bring your confirmation ticket and a valid ID document, such as an ID card, Citizen ID card, or Passport, to complete the test entry process.
Keep in mind that there must be a minimum of 12 days between each attempt of the test.
